Dear Spartan Fans

Hello from Denmark! Today was a busy day. The team got up early and practiced before our game. And after we won our game went into Copenhagen. Copenhagen is a big city with so much to do. We spent about an hour walking around after we ate diner. The weather here is on the chilly side. About 50 degrees and silly me did not bring any pants on the trip! Needless to say I was froze to death. Tomorrow the team is going back after an early morning practice and before our evening game. Chuck is keeping us busy with practice, competition, and travel. Everyone is really enjoying them selves.

The Queen of Denmark has I think four different castles. One of them is a two-minute walk from where we are staying. She is there right now vacationing. The are guards on duty full time. There is no one around and you are allowed to walk right up close to the castle. It is completely different from what I am used to. Just think about the White House!

The ice cream in Europe is just like thick whipped cream. I love it! My favorite is soft served vanilla dipped in chocolate. I recommend it to all future travelers.

My last thought is, "Film cannot capture the beauty of Europe you need to experience it yourself".

Take care,
Vicki Basil
