Bowles, Wells Named NGCA All-American Scholar-Athletes
Two members of the Michigan State women's golf team were selected to the 2007-08 National Golf Coaches Association (NGCA) All-American Scholar Team. Recent graduate Jordyn Wells and rising sophomore Michelle Bowles were among 402 Division I, II & III women student-athletes, who were recognized for their accomplishments both on and off the course.

Slobodnik-Stoll Wins Fourth-Straight GAM Women's Mid-Amateur
Michigan State women's golf head coach Stacy Slobodnik-Stoll continued her play as one of the top women's golfers in the state of Michigan, winning her fourth-consecutive Golf Association of Michigan (GAM) Women's Mid-Amateur Championship. Slobodnik-Stoll won the two-round tournament by seven strokes with a six-over par 150(73-77) at Midland Country Club in Midland, Mich.

Sara Brown Becomes Ninth MSU Women's Golf All-American
Michigan State women's golf senior Sara Brown was an honorable mention selection to the Duramed FUTURES Tour NGCA Division I All-American team, announced on Friday, May 23 at the NGCA Division I Awards Banquet in Albuquerque, N.M. Brown become the ninth All-America selection in Michigan State women's golf history and the first since Allison Fouch in 2004.

Sara Brown Named to ESPN the Magazine Academic All-District Second Team
Michigan State women's golf senior Sara Brown was recognized for her tremendous success both on the course and in the classroom, as she was named to the ESPN The Magazine/CoSIDA Women's At-Large Academic All-District IV Second Team.

Laura Kueny Advances to 2008 U.S. Open Sectional Qualifier
Michigan State women's golf sophomore Laura Kueny became one step closer to qualifying for the 2008 U.S. Women's Open, after advancing through the local qualifying last week in Minnesota.

Former Spartan Allison Fouch Ties For Second at LPGA's Michelob ULTRA Open
In the defining moment of her young professional golf career, former Michigan State women's golf standout Allison Fouch chipped in for birdie on the 18th hole Sunday to post a seven-under par 64 and ultimately tie for second at this weekend's LPGA Michelob ULTRA Open at the Kingsmill Resort & Spa in Williamsburg, Va.

MSU Women's Golf Miss NCAA Championship Berth By One Stroke
The Michigan State women's golf team's season ended on Saturday night, as they fell one stroke short of a qualifying position for the 2008 NCAA Championship. The Spartans shot a final round six-over par 294 at the 2008 NCAA West Regional Championship, being played at the Lincoln Hills Golf Club in Lincoln, Calif., but ended the tournament at 29-over par 893 (295-304-294) and in 11th place. Their final round team score was the fourth-lowest tally of the day.
